Hello Titans!
It is time to start planning for our district’s “Adopt-a-family” holiday assistance program. For those of you unfamiliar with the program, the School Social Workers and counselors gather wish lists for families IN OUR DISTRICT. We then give those lists to groups/clubs/departments at the high schools who agree to purchase some of the items on the list. Last year the program helped over 50 families in the district! I need to know by Monday November 16th if your group would like to adopt a family this year.
Remember that due to the increasing number of families we are serving, we are no longer able to deliver the gifts to each family. It will be the responsibility of the Adult sponsor of your group to coordinate the pick-up/delivery directly with the family you are helping. The family’s contact information will be provided with the wish list. If you have any questions, please let me know!
